McCall’s $.99 Pattern Sale at Hobby Lobby!

26 June 2010 One Comment

After I left Fabric World this evening, I stopped by Hobby Lobby to check out the fabric selection. This store has cute cotton print fabrics, but I couldn’t really envision myself sewing anything from the available selection. On my way out, I was excited to stumble upon an unexpected $.99 McCall’s pattern sale. This is only my second time shopping at Hobby Lobby, so I didn’t even realize that they sold sewing patterns.

I picked up a few of the new summer patterns, including M6118, which was sold out on my last trip to Hancock Fabrics. I love the one-shoulder look, but I’m not sure which view I like best. So help me out: Which view do you think I should sew first? I’m leaning towards View C (without the bow).

Sadly, I couldn’t remember if I had already purchased M6120. I debated about it at Hancock Fabrics two weeks ago because they only had a size 14 and up (I am a size 12). I felt silly when I got home and remembered that I posted pictures of the patterns I purchased at Hancock’s in my blog (duh :). Until I create an online file of my sewing patterns, it’s nice to know that I can check my blog on my phone in the future. Luckily, I didn’t buy a duplicate pattern!

I also debated about M6084 because I didn’t really feel moved by it. But since it was only $.99, I decided to buy it. And I can always use a new cardigan.

I also randomly purchased M6128. Even though I’ve never sewn lingerie, I’d like to have the option.
