I Couldn’t Resist Buying This 1970’s Vintage Top & Dress Pattern Before Going to Bed
Even though I wrote in my last post a few minutes ago (about the vintage wrap dress I am working on) that I was going to bed, I had the 70’s on my mind, so I decided to hop on Etsy for a quick peek at the latest vintage patterns before hitting the sack. I really liked this cute McCalls top/dress pattern, so I snatched it up.
I think the maxi dress will look cute when I rock my natural hair in a big curly ‘fro. I’m thinking about altering the pattern to give the collar a more dramatic 1970’s look similar to the wrap dress, but I’m not sure if that would be too much going on along with the shoulder ties. What do you think?
Okay, it’s 1:25AM. Now I’m really off to bed!
